Sushi Set

I created this sushi set for two as a final project for my second ceramics class. I threw all pieces on the wheel and used black slip to create the dark coloring. A clear glaze was overlayed to create the glossy look. Included in this set; one sushi boat, two plates, two soy sauce bowls, two miso bowls, and two whale chopstick holders.

Restaurant Plates

My ceramics class had the incredible opportunity to create a set of matching plates for a local restaurant to use in place of their regular dishes. I made a plaster mold and placed slabs of clay over top in order to create nearly identical plates. I had made my own colored clay/slip to create the evil eye decoration. The rest of the plates were glazed using a variety of blues.

Dinner Set

This set was for my final ceramics project during my last semester of college. I was assigned to create a set for a specific place. I chose to make dishes for my family Christmas dinner. All pieces were thrown on the wheel and glazed with chun blue. This set includes; one large plate, one large bowl, two medium bowls, one small bowl, a wine glass, a mini plate, and a serving spoon.
